Daryl Reininger
Daryl was 16 when he was called to the ministry. He went on to attend Oklahoma Baptist University where he received a Bible degree and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern. He has served in youth ministry for over 10 years, most of it as a Middle School Pastor. His true passion is to preach the word of God in a way that people can understand and apply to their lives. He desires to follow this call from God in anyway that He allows.
Why I preach?
I preach because I believe God has called me to do so. I believe that each and everyone of us has been gifted by God to help build up the church and to take the Gospel to the world. My strongest spiritual gift is preaching or teaching. This doesn't mean it is the only way that I can serve Christ, but it is my strongest gift. It also doesn't mean that I am going bring some new WOW factor to preaching. As a matter of fact I try to avoid that desire. Paul said it this way, "For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, not in cleverness of speech so that the cross of Christ would not be made void." ( I Corinthians 1:17) I pray that I would never put self or performance in my words but only the cross!

25 Random Things About Me.
25. I was a Middle School Pastor for 8 years and loved it!
24. My brother and I are 8 years, 8 months, and 8 days apart. (almost 8 hours)
23. I am originally from Houston Texas.
22. I hate the smell of broccollii.
21. I played High school football with Jeremy Shockey and actually started infront of him my senior year.
20. My Dad is a firefighter, police officer, and business owner.
19. My favorite hobbies are: hunting, fishing, video games, any sport, and riding my motorcycle.
18. I love the Oklahoma Sooners, and I have to be careful about how much of my life is watching or keeping up with the Sooners.
17. I attended one of the greatest bowl games in history Boise State vs. Oklahoma. Hated the end but what a game.
16. I had the incredible priviledge of baptizing my Mom when I was just 21.
15. The first time I shared my testimony to a crowd of people, I was not told ahead of time and it was infront of 6000 people.
14. I was voted most popular guy at my college my senior year, and people literally protested against the award saying it was "unchristian" to have such an award. One the signs they carried around said Hitler was popular.
13. I constantly forget things and lose things.
12. I hate reading but love book on tape.
11. My favorite TV shows are LOST, House, and The Office.
10. I am 5ft 9in tall exactly.
9. My wife is way better looking than me and a million times smarter than me. you could say I married up.
8. I think Snuggies are the dumbest things ever.
7. Favorite movies, Gladiator, The Lord of the Rings (all 3), 300, and Top Gun.
6. I hate heights but love roller coasters.
5. My wife and I love to do movie marathon saturdays. Which is when we go to the movies and watch 3-4 movies in one day. Great days.
4. My dream car is a brand new Chevy 4 door 4 wheel drive pickup.
3. I love anything made by PUMA. Shoes, shirts, jackets, etc.
2. I hate wearing glasses but my eyes are so bad I can't wear contacts and have to wear glasses.
