So the stress is gone and Big Weekend is now complete.  The weekend was incredible.  We saw God move in so many ways it was just phenominal.  By the way Jarrett Stevens was just absolutely incredible.  He taught God's word in way that every student could grasp and take something away.  I heard over and over again that our students just loved his teaching.  Not to be forgotten or left out we had Pocket Full of Rocks lead worship for us and they were equally amazing.  God has without question gifted these guys to do what they do.  So all that to say that if you ever need a speaker or band either would should be someone you look to bring in.

  We had over 700 teenagers from 7 different churches gather together to be challenged by scripture and come together as the body of Christ.  We spent time praying for every campus in our community.  We even had a time where HS students prayed over MS studetns that was awesome and we had a time where MS students prayed over Hs students.  In the midst of having that many students gathered together and staying the weekend in other people's houses there were no majuor glitches.  Even more important was the fact that studetns met with Christ.  They were challenged to "Follow Jesus" and they have to this point accepted the challenge.  So again it was a weekend where God showed that he cares more for the sutdents in our ministry than I do.  He showed that he knows more about the details than I do.  It is that same old thing that I always here every pastor say after a big event, God always comes through and puts everything together.  So thanks Lord for showing that You are in control and that You provide and that you still answer prayer!
